Payment types

We accept: Cash, personal check, or major credit card. 

Insurance accepted

We DO ACCEPT two forms of insurance for our General Physical Therapy practice, Eastern Monmouth Physical Therapy. 

  1. U.S. Medicare
  2. Tricare for Life (military insurance)

The amount you owe will be calculated OUR FEE – what your insurance covers = what additionally you need to pay.

We DO NOT currently accept insurance for East Coast Movement Performance Institute services.

No-show and late cancellation policy

At East Coast Movement Performance Institute, we value your time and are committed to providing the highest quality care. We understand that unexpected situations may arise, making it necessary to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To maintain an efficient schedule for all our patients, we kindly request your cooperation with the following policy:

Appointment Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

You can cancel or reschedule by:

No-Show Definition
A “no-show” occurs when a patient:

  • Misses a scheduled appointment without notice
  • Cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice
  • Arrives more than 15 minutes late, resulting in a need to reschedule

No-Show Fees
To respect the time of our practitioners and other patients, we implement the following fee structure for no-shows:

  • Initial Evaluations (2 hours, $500): $250 no-show fee
  • Regular Sessions (1 hour, $150): $75 no-show fee

These fees are not covered by insurance and must be paid before scheduling your next appointment.

Policy Exceptions
We understand that emergencies and extenuating circumstances can occur. In such cases, fees may be waived at the discretion of the practice management. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation.

Multiple No-Shows
Patients with three or more no-shows within a 12-month period may be asked to pre-pay for future appointments or may face scheduling restrictions.

Our Commitment to You
If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, we will offer you the option to:

  • See another available practitioner on the same day
  • Reschedule at your earliest convenience
  • Cancel without any penalty

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy. It helps us maintain a high standard of care and ensures that all patients have access to timely treatment.
